Follow these instructions to reduce processing delays and improve review readiness of your manuscript.
Manuscript Submission
Manuscript submissions are received through our online submission platform:https://www.slujst.com.ng/submission/.
New authors must register before submitting, while existing users can log in to proceed. See our sample paper format and author’s guide for manuscript preparation. The journal template is available for download on our website under Manuscript Template.
Please refer to our information pack for additional guidance on using the journal portal.
Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must be original and not published or under review elsewhere.
- All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review.
- If accepted, they will be published in the next available issue.
- Accepted manuscripts will be categorized as research papers, review papers, or technical notes.
- Evaluation is based on methodological soundness, innovation, significance, and reporting quality.

Preparation of the Manuscript
Ensure the manuscript follows formatting guidelines.
Title Page
Include article title, authors, and contact details.
Abstract Page
Provide an abstract of up to 250 words with keywords.
Keywords
Include five or six relevant keywords.
Symbols, Abbreviations and Units
Define all symbols and abbreviations.
Introduction
Provide background, literature review, and objectives.
Theoretical Analysis
Explain mathematical principles or theories used.
Materials and Methods
Describe apparatus, materials, and methodologies used.
Results and Discussion
Interpret findings with tables and figures as needed.
Conclusion
Summarize findings, relevance, and recommendations.
References
Follow the APA system for citations and references.
